NELSON MANDELA SEC. SCHOOL STUDENTS APPRECIATE THE TRANSPORTATION SUPPORT GIVEN

In intervention of transportation of students to easy their walking to and back from school once again one hundred (100) students from Nelson Mandela secondary school in Morogoro district received bicycles.

The bicycles given is an on going the Bicycles Project which Education Gauge for Growth Tanzania – EGG Tanzania aimed at preventing girls from early pregnancies, rape and failure to attend classes due to late arrival to school and tiredness in class for long walking.

Speaking on handing over ceremony of the bicycles to students held at their school Hon. Albert Msando, Morogoro District Commissioner appraise the move of EGG Tanzania in supporting education sector in Tanzania by coming with the project and emphasis given to girls students as at Nelson Mandela seventy (70) girls were among the beneficiaries.

So far students in Singida, Zanzibar, Rufiji-Pwani and now Morogoro were the beneficiary where almost 400 bicycles issued. The project is a continuous support from iHH Humanitarian Relief Foundation of Turkey.
