On February 2020 Education Gauge for Growth Tanzania (EGG – Tanzania) with IHH Humanitarian Relief Foundation of Turkey made possible to fifty 50 students of Kizimkazi Dimbani School in Zanzibar on their means of transport to and back to school
During the presentation donors from Kuwait together with IHH senior officer were there to observe the handing over of the bicycles to deserve students. Thirty two – 32 female students and 28 boys were given these bicycles. Those given both were from primary to secondary levels.
Bicycle Project aimed to facilitate students living far from schools and families cannot able to support their means of transport to school. This is the first time for this project to be done in Islands of Zanzibar. Already students in Mbelekese village, Singida region received bicycles under this project in 2019.
